A 'set' option of sweets at Onn Kyoto

Onn Japanese sweet shop or Wagashi in the Gokomachi district of Kyoto opened late 2023 by owner Suzuka Yamaoka. The goal was to provide an experience that warms both the body and soul of it’s customers.

Yamaoka-san chose to utilize a 100 year old Kyo-machiya (traditional wooden townhouse) specifically to preserve the historical architecture of Kyoto.  Local craftsman where chosen to execute his vision of what Onn could be.  One step inside and you’ll realize that this little tea house is beyond a wonderful step back in time, it’s an experiential break in your day.

Onn does not accept reservations: During peak season line can exist as with other popular spots around the world.
