Ninna-Ji Temple Kyoto, Japan is a Buddhist temple in north-west Kyoto. Ninna-Ji has a historical relationship with the Imperial Family of Japan.
The temple is known for its Omuro Sakura cherry trees, the latest blooming cherry trees in Kyoto.
My visit was in the middle of December, quiet but lacking the color of spring and fall. I highly recommend a visit to Ninna-Ji Temple and its neighboring temples like Ryoan-Ji and Kinkaku-ji Temple, a World Heritage Site known for its "Golden Temple."
